Ms. Grant joined The Huntley Law Firm as an associate attorney in the summer of 2015.  She practices in family law, immigration, and general law.

Mary GrantA native of South Dakota, Ms. Grant moved to Boise in 2002 and finished her undergraduate degree at Boise State University.  She worked for two local non-profits beginning in 2006 through 2008.  Ms. Grant then attended law school at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho, graduating in May 2011.  During that time, she interned for the Idaho Volunteer Lawyers Program and the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Idaho.  For two years after law school, Ms. Grant worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Sergio Gutierrez on the Idaho Court of Appeals.  She next acted as staff attorney for Idaho Legal Aid Services, Inc., advocating for parents and children subject to domestic violence and other abuse in family law cases in the Third Judicial District, up until she moved to The Huntley Law Firm.

Prior to and throughout her law career, Ms. Grant has been active in supporting underserved portions of the community.  She aided in the launch of the Idaho Pro-Bono Immigration Law Network in 2009.  In 2010 and 2011, she helped organize legal seminars and pro bono wills clinics in Moscow and in Boise.  Since 2012, she has served as a board member for the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights, whose mission is to promote and teach respect and dignity for each person.  In September 2015, Ms. Grant received the Justice Achievement Award from Idaho Legal Aid Services for advocacy, devotion, and commitment to improving the life of clients.
