Bob Huntley is Of Counsel to the firm. He was a Justice of the Idaho Supreme Court from 1982 to 1989. He holds degrees in Political Science/Public Administration and Law from the University of Idaho and a “Master of Laws in the Judicial Process” from the University of Virginia.
His fifty + years as a member of the Idaho Bar has been primarily devoted to the work of a trial and appellate lawyer in a wide spectrum of cases, including substantial class actions. He was a member and vice chairman of the Idaho Judicial Council from 1967 to 1991; a commissioner of the Idaho State Bar in 1982; chair of the State Bar CLE Committee in 1964-1966; and chair of the State Bar Professional Conduct Board in 1993-1994.
He served three years on active duty in the Navy, followed by nineteen years as a Reserve Intelligence Officer, retiring with the rank of Captain in 1978. His civil activities include leadership in scouting; member and chairman of the board of Opera Idaho; and member of various state task force committees, including those concerning Education, Energy Resource Policy, and Taxation.
